Hurricanes to Host Outdoor Game at Carter-Finley Stadium
Carolina to Face Capitals in 2023 Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Series
Raleigh, N.C. - The Carolina Hurricanes, in conjunction with the NHL, will host an outdoor game at NC State's Carter-Finley Stadium on February 18, 2023. The Hurricanes will play the Washington Capitals in the 2023 Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Series game.
This will be the first outdoor game for the Hurricanes since 2019, when they hosted the Boston Bruins at Carter-Finley Stadium. The Hurricanes won that game 3-2 in overtime.
The 2023 Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Series game will be the first outdoor game for the Capitals. The game will be played on a temporary outdoor rink built on the field at Carter-Finley Stadium.
Tickets for the game will go on sale to the general public on Friday, October 21, at 10 a.m. ET. Tickets will start at $99.
The 2023 Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Series game is expected to draw a sellout crowd to Carter-Finley Stadium. The game will be a major event for the Raleigh community and for the Hurricanes organization.
