Aurora unlikely to be visible in UK

Reports will help determine if aurora is being seen

The Aurora Borealis is unlikely to be visible by eye or camera from anywhere in the UK tonight, according to the Met Office.

The Met Office said that the aurora is only likely to be visible from the far north of Scotland, and even then it is likely to be very faint.

However, the Met Office said that reports from members of the public will help to determine if the aurora is being seen from anywhere in the UK.
