2024 Tennessee Baseball Schedule: All the Info You Need
Official Release and Game Details
The University of Tennessee Volunteers have officially released their 2024 baseball schedule, featuring a challenging slate of opponents both in and out of conference. The Vols will play two fall exhibition games before opening their regular season in February. The Southeastern Conference (SEC) has also announced the 2024 league schedules for all 14 teams.
Fall Exhibition Games
Tennessee will open its fall exhibition schedule with a pair of games against the University of Memphis on October 27th and 28th at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. These games will give the Vols a chance to showcase their young talent and work on their team chemistry before the start of the regular season.
Regular Season Highlights
The Vols' regular season will begin on February 17th with a three-game series against the University of Texas at San Antonio at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. Tennessee will face a challenging non-conference schedule that includes games against the University of Arizona, the University of Mississippi, and the University of Virginia. The Vols will also play four games against their SEC rivals Vanderbilt University.
Southeastern Conference Schedule
Tennessee will play a 30-game SEC schedule in 2024, with 15 home games and 15 away games. The Vols will face each of their SEC opponents three times, with two series taking place at home and one series taking place on the road. Tennessee will open its SEC schedule on March 11th with a three-game series against the University of Missouri at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.
2024 College World Series
The 2024 Men's College World Series will take place at Charles Schwab Field Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska from June 14th to June 26th. The eight teams that will participate in the College World Series will be determined by the NCAA Tournament, which will be held from May 31st to June 12th.
